The number of Pens fans on this site that sh*t talk Murray all the time and then say he's going to get a huge return is astonishing.

where at any point did i say he deserves a huge return? he definitely deserves more than this trade. anderson is older and worse than murray & JP can't even play in the NHL this season. Gmjr would want a return that could benefit the team now, not future.

Oh I agree this trade is garbage. I just find it amusing to see post after post saying Jarry is the future and Murray is garbage and then the same fans going to trading Murray for a 1st, a top line forward and a top prospect. If he's so bad, he may only get a pick and B prospect.

Personally I think Murray could use a fresh start and some better luck healthwise. I'd be thrilled if he got traded to TO for a fair price.

Hasn't Koskinen been the best out of all three of these goalies this season? Like I get Murray could be the Oilers goalie for the next good while if this trade happened but they want to make the playoffs this season so don't see why they'd take the risk on an inconsistent Murray.
If the Pens dealt Murray wouldn't they just callup DeSmith instead of acquiring another backup?
Can't see the Sens having any interest in Koskinen given his age and they're gonna want more then a 5th for retaining on Anderson.

I get this site is hypothetical but this doesn't really make much sense for any of the teams involved.
Goaltending isn't the Oilers problem, lack of top 6/9 wingers is, that's what Holland needs to be trading for.
