Probably MTL, Vlassics contract is very similar to Prices, both are bad deals but they are still solid players. Alzner is dead weight. Both Jones and M. Karlsson are still nhl playable and Jones contract isn't that bad for buyout either.

No, I’m just realistic. Btw I’m not one of those who makes the Grubauer + Byram trades. I know you guys love to put some hate on Price but cmon he still don’t have a negative value.

@sabres716 Price is elite with a bad contract, but he’s still elite and Mtl have the cap space to keep him. Jones is garbage and Vlasic is slowing down drastically

He did play well tonight, i never said he was bad, i said his contract is. Vlassic was the best player on the Sharks in the playoffs last year he is still a very good defensive defenseman but is contract is also bad.

Not necessarily, 2 years ago Quick was still considered one of the best goalies in the league, he carried his team to the playoffs and had a .947 SV% even though they got swept by Vegas. Quick is 33. Price is 32, there is no guarantee he will be elite for 5 more years. He could be a Lundqvist or he could be a Quick.
