If the rangers played with more structure , he would not have 67 points. The rangers are basically the 17-18 islanders - exciting to watch, entire top 6 is putting up great numbers, but your defense is bottom 5 in the league and you’ll miss the playoffs (and won’t even get a high draft pick) .

Before you even think about being a contender , rangers need a 2C. Yeah I’m sure panarin can make chytil look good, but he’s more of a 3C (a very good one). No one is trading top 6 centers right now, so you’ll have to draft one. Already missed on lias Anderson.

Panarin is having the best season of his career with Strome as his centre. Maybe it's Strome that's helping Panarin... Strome was drafted by the Islanders 5th overall, then was traded to Edmonton and was never given the chance to be a top 6 forward with either team. Now that he's a top 6 forward he's showing how stupid the Isles and Oilers are for not giving a top 5 draft pick the chance to play on the top lines where he belongs. The Rangers drafted Chytil in the 1st round the same draft they drafted Andersson, so maybe they missed on Andersson... They surly didn't miss on Chytil and now NYR has Strome instead of Andersson. The Islanders missing on Strome is much bigger than the Rangers missing on Andersson.
