Value for Dumba is just not there tbh.. Brodin for Johnsson? That could be a good trade tbh. But Dumba would be more expensive.

Creative idea. If I was Minnesota, I don't think I would take this offer. When it comes down to it this is:
Johnsson for Hartman
Dumba for Bracco + 3rd (Minnesota may demand for more)
Stalock for Hutch (Minnesota may demand more)
+ Salary dump for Ceci (Minnesota may demand something to take this on)

Just my opinion.

Would a swap of Kapanen instead of Johnsson OR Nick Robertson (Team USA WJ/Peterborough Petes standout) instead of Bracco move the needle at all?

Dumba for Bracco and a 3rd, stop sniffing glue. 1st pair D for 2 guys that might not ever play in the NHL......Brutal, you want Dumba it WILL start with Nylander

Middle-6 set-up man (as opposed to goal scorer). Probably would need to learn to kill penalties (like Kapanen) to get enough ice time, but has the skating for today’s game. Probably needs to move to an organization with less competition on the wings to crack the NHL and stay, but could be a 30-40 pt player and maybe higher with the right linemates (goal scorers).

Wild just do not need another left shooting wing so Brodin for Johnsson is a no go. Guys I think Wild would really like
Matthews- not going anywhere
Marner- not going anywhere
Nylander- not moving this season
Kapanen- could be moved
Liljegren- could be moved
Sandin- doubt Leafs are willing to deal him
There may be some other prospects I'm not thinking about but those would be the most likely to get a deal done.

The only realistic option there is Kapanen tbh. And Kapanen for Brodin would be nice deal.

If you want guys like Ellis, dumba etc you have to pay for them, not offer a mix of cap dumps, ahl players, non 1st round picks and a decent winger

Always depends on what the team is looking for. If the Wild are rebuilding, they might accept a variety of pieces. Dumba is having a down year too, which may mean that they hang on to him until his play rebounds and his value returns. I’d wait until Peter Chiarelli gets another job before moving a young RD, he set the market with Hall-Larsson...
