I'm not sure why would Edmonton do this trade, to be honest. They need wingers, not defensemen, and Lazar isn't exactly lighting the world on fire despite 4 points in his last 4 games. He's a bottom-six player, of which Edmonton already has plenty.

This is a rather strange AGM.

They already have a top-4 plus Bouchard coming next year. They don't need Risto, so there's no reason to trade for him. They aren't getting anything here that's very useful to them.
