Oilers have so many D already. The one move they dont have to make for the trade line is to get more D. they need lw and 3rd line center.....So decline your trade

It would’ve been just for not forcing Jones to have to log a ton of minutes for a playoff push/ in the playoffs (as I personally think he’s better then Russell and larsson but they can take the minutes albeit they also don’t matter like jones does for the future).but yes I know your point: just took a look at the option

Not even close to reality. If Holland refused to give up the 1st for Taylor Hall why would he send it to SJ for a collection of bottom-of-the-roster players that he doesn't need?

This trade doesn't make any sense! The only thing Edmonton doesn't need is defense.
