Description

The big deal here is obviously Risto. Winnipeg needs defenders badly and could move one of their highly touted prospects and a pick to acquire one. Helps buffalo get another high end forward prospect to a pretty bare cupboard.

Other deals are moving vets out and acquiring picks/ guys who could get re-signed for cheap if they perform admirably

I think the Jets do this deal if Buff doesn't come back and the team is in playoff contention.

Nashville isn't exactly hurting for underachieving wingers at the moment. Not sure I see that deal going through.

I like the idea for Vesalainen, but not sure I'd give Risto for just him and a 3rd. Receiving no immediate help at forward for a piece like Risto doesn't sit well.

If it's something like Vesalainen + Roslovic for Risto + Rodrigues or Vesey or Sheary or a mid pick/prospect (WPG's choice, doesn't matter)... I'm probably game
