The team is out of it at this point, Bogo doesn't raise the teams floor by enough to spark a very improbably run, and you can probably get a similar, if not better prospect with that 5th round pick that you're giving up.

All the Ducks do here is open up cap space for the Sabres to add someone with higher upside at the deadline.

Worge Kreu looks like he could be a valuable prospect. Ducks also get the RHD they need if they continue looking to shop Manson. Bogo could fill his spot.

I think the Sabres would be happy to get rid of Bogo...the problem is who wants him plus his cap hit is 5.142 which means the Sabres are going to have to hold a bunch of money to e him. He's a UFA at seasons end so no reason to keep him plus he wants out

He’s ufa, so why bother? Unless you’re planning on buying at the TDL.
