I like him (knights fan), but on top of not being enough for kapanen, it makes no sense for where the leafs are as a team.

I feel like all of our RHD's (Trouba,DeAngelo,Fox) don't really make sense for Kaps.

For what exactly? That is a crazy overpay.
Georgiev is not worth more than what the Leafs acquired Bernier for (feel free to check the stats on that. They are in VERY similar situations).
Kreider is a rental. After the Hall trade (among others), rentals don't cost much.

If you want a 2nd line player signed on a cheap contract with term for a backup goalie, you need to add value.

Or scrap it all and just realize you are not getting a huge haul for Gorgiev. Kreider isn't needed, a backup sure but only at a fair value. Or lose him next year to Seattle for nothing.

Why do Ranger fans continue to trade Andersson in NHL trades? Now if this website was for AHL player on maybe Swedish players who are playing pick up hockey...yep Andersson should be included in trades. Leafs are trying to make the playoffs, they certainly aren't trading two NHLers for one AHLer and one beer league player.
