I was informed recently that even though everything on the internet says Khovanov is a center, it turns out he is a LW according to a Moncton Wildcats season ticket holder. Guy seemed pretty legit so unless someone can tell me otherwise I think the Wild center position is more dire than I previously thought.

I know. So was this guy just pulling my chain or what's going on. I mean he seemed honest and knowledgeable. I started following the Wildcats on Twitter to see if I can get any info on it.

The Twitter research has paid off. The guy was pulling my chain. Khovanov took 13 faceoffs and won 7 so not great in the circle, but definitely a center.

Could add a second or third. Good chance the Wild sign him as a UFA the following summer because of the Kaprizov connection so wouldn’t feel comfortable giving up anything more.
