For Pacioretty MTL got Suzuki Tatar and a 2nd. Petry’s value is close from Pacioretty, so yes a top3 RHD is worth alot + Petry isn’t on the trade market so it will be a huge overpay going after him

Petry is the better RHD on the market this TDL, Muzzin got a 1st + 2 former 2nd rd pick prospects and per Pierre LeBrun Petry should fetch more because he’s a RHD

Nobody is ready to fill the 2nd pairing RH spot that’s why. We got Cale Fleury who’s never gonna be more than a #5 at best and Josh Brook whos got the higher ceiling, but needs 2-3 years in the AHL tho

No I think he won’t return this year, they will take their time for now on. We’ll see next year at camp, but he might return this year, hopefully not
