Description
Studnicka also gets time at 3C with Coyle shifting over to 3RW. Heinen or Moore could be moved next year for draft picks if Studnicka and Lauzon/Vaak stick. What does everyone think?

Take out Backes and the Ducks might go for that.

I think this is pretty good, although I’m guessing grzelcyk will want more.

Only thing that stands out is studnicka will 100% be on the team next year.

More to value that a simple point total, and Kase is finally seeing the production he's capable of 8 points in his last 11

Yes, there is more to it all than points! Of course there is. I frequently am on here saying just that. Buuuut if we’re talking Andersson and a 2nd, gonna need to see a bit more pop out of Kase.

Well, that’s impressive. Maybe you think Andersson is a nobody?

Thats fair, I think with Backes included the Ducks don't do this though, and No reason for you guys to move Backes at that cost assuming that trade is done in the offseason

I'm a huge fan of Andersson

Sidenote, what are the odds Krug stays you think?

It’s such a tough question. The bruins have three guys on the left side ready to step in, buuuuut it’s torey krug. I think Sweeney has to have a number in mind, and he won’t go over it. But then again krug has said he would take below market to stay in boston, something that i tend to assume guys won’t do. I think he stays, and the bruins likely regret it down the line.

Why would adding Backes make the Ducks decline? Didn't they just recently say they're willing to take on contracts at the deadline to get picks/prospects? If they want Andersson and a 2nd I don't think they'll care too much to take on Backes since it doesn't really hurt them any. Bruins might need to throw in another prospect or retain some of Backes' contract though.

I also think Krug stays. They find a way to get it done.

I do not think Andersson is a nobody. However, all he has right now is potential, whereas Kase has demonstrated his capabilities in the NHL. As others have mentioned, he is playing well of late, which only increases his trade value. I think a 2nd and Andersson would be a fair return for Kase. If you want Anaheim to take back Backes, Boston will have to add.

Anaheim is absolutely willing to take on Backes, but not for free. Boston will have to add if they want Anaheim to pick up his contract.
