Not a chance Calgary does that. Bracco is worth a 4th at best and likely a 5th so not much. Hanifin is clearly better then Dermott and although Dermott has some upside, it's not Hanifin.

I guess you didn't see Kapenen in there? Right shot scoring winger it's what the flames have been coveting

I like the Flames trade but the Crouse trade makes no sense to me

Why would the Leasf be even remotely interested in that trade. Dermot despite seeing no PP has offensive stats pro rated very close to Hanifans. Plus Hanifans's plus/minus stinks. Kapanen is superior to Bennett.

Trade is nothing more than moving Johnsson cap, didn't want hear about how crappy Johnsson was with actual value

Hanifan has superior upside over Dermott, trade is Kap for Hanifan and Dermott for Bennet

That trade fits for Calgary - with Valimakii coming back we could survive the down grade form Hanifin to Dermott.

A well balanced trade overall that fits both teams - I had to do a double take when I saw Boomer's name there!!

He's not really a "scoring" winger being on pace for 15 goals this year. He's a assist guy that plays some defense, middle 6 winger.

We're gonna disagree on that, Kapenen is a natural goal scorer who has been groomed on the defensive side of the game who has been playing and stuck a little farther down the depth chart than he could be (with good reason, Nylander Marner) he plays 14-16 minutes a night and not with the top talent TO has, in a top 6 role with his speed and ability he is a scoring winger. But hey at 22 I guess there is a chance he has topped out as a third line player but I doubt it.

That's fair, I've thrown my fair share of WTF trades up on the board

I don't doubt he can score more goals next to Matthews or Tavares but most middle 6 wingers can.
