As a Pens fan I love the Lowry deal, however not too keen on giving up a 4th rounder with all the picks we have lost. Any chance we could change that 4th to a lower/mid level prospect or current roster player?

Fair enough...Just wanted a 4th back as we dont have one...someone like Crosby coming back would be fine...he is a lower end roster player, right?smile

It should, it's an overpayment IMO. I get that the jets need a big minute Dman and Dumba could be that guy, but I think they are paying too much. Samberg's suppose to be close to NHL ready and by all accounts he'll be good; Roslovic is still so young but getting better and the draft is so deep this year that first rounders are more valuable then other years. I just don't see the jets giving up so many futures, when they have cap space to spend this summer. Just my opinion though.

If they can get Hamonic, just trade Pionk for a 1st ++...we need a RD and MIN is trading...

I do like the Pitt deal. Lowry is kinda expendable with Copp's recent play and makes too much money to be a 4C.
Zack Smith is ok, but not sure how needed he is.
Thinking you can get a 3rd for Kulikov even with retention is kinda funny, but maybe a return to FLA makes sense. He has been playing well with Niku so maybe youre right

I wouldn't trade Pionk, I get selling high on a guy, but his play doesn't look to be a fluke at all this season. Jets fans are definitely hoping for Hamonic to return home, but who knows. If he does a right side of Pionk, Hamonic and Poolman looks pretty good going forward

But we need a RD for this season...I would rather have Dumba and Hamonic as Pionk is small...esp playing with Heinola and Niku
