Wild can get more trading them separately, but man this would give Montreal one of the best defences in the league.

It gives MTL the best right hand defense, but the offense is a problem if Cousins is in the regular lineup and Byron plays 3rd line
tbh it worries me that there is no Caufield or Romanov

It shouldn't worry you, it's called development until they're ready. I know it's unfamiliar in Montreal but it's a very good thing believe me!

The bottom six wouldn't be as bad if we resign Kovalchuck or simply get a middle 6 winger in free agency or trade mid picks for one (Kevin Labanc for example). With this backend you could even send Petry anywhere for a top 6 winger and more if needed.
