I don't want to be piggy here -- I'd be thrilled to the rafters to get a first for Kase -- but if Boston's intent on giving us a prospect too, couldn't we have Axel Andersson instead?

Lol, no.

Coleman has 21 goals and 166 hits, built for playoffs. And TB paid more to keep him out of Boston.

3rd and Anderson.

Kase is better than Coleman imo and has more to show for it. Hes also signed for cheap for the next 2 years and only becomes an RFA and not UFA like Coleman

No he isn’t. He has more goal scoring capability than Coleman. Coleman is superior to him in every other way. Cheaper and cheaper to re-sign. Much rather have had Coleman. Brilliant move by TB overpaying for him while B’s were negotiating for him.

Coleman is better, is on a better contract and is more diverse. The ability to play center and being one of the best power killer in the league makes him very valuable.

Keeping him away from boston also drove the price up

Agreed. He's also more durable than Kase, who is made of glass.

Awful valuation of Kase. EZ pass.

Lol, the 2 sides have been talking and less was involved. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Me, i’d do Heinen for Kase straight up otherwise i’d pass and look elsewhere.

I doubt ANA has any interest in Heinen in a 1-for-1 for Kase. Hopefully BOS finds what they're looking for. A lot of teams going for it this season it would seem.

I wouldn’t if I was them either. Does not help them.

Taking Backes would help. Lol.
