Columbus declines and possibly laughs.... Baertschi is basically a cap dump and we have no need for a LHD....

Value is quite heavily on your side though. Definitely doesn't meet any of your needs but you could flip Olli for more than Josh.

As for Troy, I want him gone too.

for a guy with 4 points all year, playing for a coach who basically said they didn't need him? Not sure they have the right to laugh. But what is your counter

while anderson was injured, torts was asked about him and basically said "while were winning without him in the lineup" or something

We were winning without a lot of player in the line up... I don’t think that really mean we don’t want him anymore...torts always seems to focus on the guys playing, not the guys who’s are sitting in the stands, I’d bet once Anderson is healthy he’s right back into the line up.

i wish i could remember where i saw the quote. the way it was worded really sounded like a coach who was not happy with his players output. that being said, I like anderson as a player and think he could really be helpful to the canucks lineup

Well I can tell you that Anderson isn’t happy with his output on the stat sheet this year.

The problem is that Anderson would be helpful to almost every teams line up, when he’s going he’s a hard match up of a big player with speed and good hands. Not many teams have a good match up options against that.

A quote from Torts...

“Josh has had some struggles,” Blue Jackets coach John Tortorella said. “I thought he was coming on (before he was injured), I thought he was playing better. I don’t think he was rewarded as far as points are concerned, but he was playing better.

“But, ya know, we’ve done OK here (without him).”
