If the B's move Backes, it's likely with a prospect and a pick but not the 1st. 1st (should) only be moved if it's for an RW with term.

... well guess y'all just got proved wrong. So much for that discussion. Can't tell Bruins fans anything logical and have them believe it when it's right in front of their face.

Axelsson, a FIRST ROUND PICK, and Backes (25% RETAINED) to be able to move Backes. & don't sit there and try to say the Bruins didn't overpay or that they got a good return cause you'll get laughed at. Kase has never had more than 38 points and can't stay healthy. & he's already 24 😂

The difference here is Boston got a significant piece in return which was the only way they’d move Backes with a 1st. Which is also what I said all along.
