no it was a rumor started by mike kelly. he brought up the idea and justified it. but lebrun and friedman shot it down

It’s not a rumour it was pure fan speculation, he didnt mention any sources or what he’s hearing he just was ranting as a fan of price I’d wouldn’t it be cool to see him win a cup on the avs

some Phillip Boucher TVA talking head went on a show back in October and said Montreal should trade price to the Avs to become a cup contender, saying Byram, Grubauer, and multiple1st round draft picks.
Hes the one who started it all, some no talent hack given air time and the fan base ran with it like its a rumoured trade value

Its like if Jeff Oneil talked about what he would trade a leafs player for on air and people assumed it was legit
