Based on his comments following the TDL, I kinda feel like Thornton will sign with a serious/consistent contender next season If he wants to keep going.

Our problem is top talent in the forwards, not depth. We have bottom sixers out the ass

But everyone would be back. We have top line talent (couture, hertl, Kane, Timo and bancer). The problem this season has been everyone has gotten injured and our depth as sucked. If you add scoring depth behind them even if we have some injuries we can still score. And if we add some goaltending it can help with the need to score.
