Chicago needs to find another goalie whether its Crawford, Lehner or someone else but they are horrible defensively and that tandem will get eaten alive

? no way Chicago gets that little for Toews. Domi hasnt repeated his superstar season and that pick is looking like it might not even be top 10, how is that even close to a deal MTL wouldnt take, especially with nobody set in stone as a future 1c, Toews is still playing some of the best hockey of his career

That's the whole point of this 'Rebuild' post. To get another top-10 pick and to sell off more assets like Murphy, Smith, Shaw, Maata, etc.

Not many teams can fit his salary and he has a NTC. The options will be limited which won't help the return.I doubt he is ever traded

Columbus does not accept. The two things we already have in overwhelming abundance are LHDs and RWs. Taking on more cap to add to those positions when we have real needs at C is not a good idea.
