Looks like a great way to mortgage the future of a hockey club for the sake of two depreciating veterans. If you miss the cup the next two years (and this club still doesn't look as good on paper as SJ, Pitt, Chi, Dallas, Flo, Was, and more) you're totally Screwed. High risk, low chance for reward. If I were Vancouvers GM I'd be giving this and next season up to rebuild and win in 5 years.

Agree with jded. What Cup are you talking about? And the only players of consequence.....Landy, Savard and Gelinas for Tanev and Jansen aren't going to make a difference.....well maybe a player spot.

Too many moving parts.. I'd like Landeskog but not sure about that, maybe if its was only 1 first round pick not 2 but then Colorado wouldn't take it. Savard would be great again don't think Columbus goes for it.
