Performance conditions happen all the time. If Neal scores 2 more goals this year Calgary gets a 3rd round pick

There's a chance for every player to outperform their trade value. You discount that Miller has been playing well and is dahlins partner currently. Bennett won't be playing in the top six in Buffalo

Well if you are certain he wont then there is no worry of having a condition

Sure have Detroit has no interest in Okposo and his 6m X 3 yr. for just a second rounder. Maybe have retained or IF was only a one year anchor.

I think they would make the trade because they have way more lefty's than rights and Miller is pretty sound defensively. I think they would probably give up Derek Ryan before Sam Bennet but, I'd be okay with either in the B6 on this squad.

If Detroit is tanking for the 20/21 season they'd take the trade. Two picks and a player who helps keep cap below the penalty line and doesnt exactly hurt your lotto odds. Detroit's probably going to be bad for atleast another 2-3 years.

You're high if you think Olofsson is going to take such a low salary and play on the 4th line...he's a 30 goal scorer if he doesn't get injured this year.

He's not taking less than $4.5M over 4-5 years.

And if this team doesn't find a #2 center, then the offseason is a failure...so in my opinion, this team won't be any better than the one we had this year.

(Also, nobody is taking Okposo without a 1st round pick attached and a prospect.)
