That fourth line is going to get stomped but the rest is pretty good

Probably. But leaving some flexibility for Dahlin's big fat raise. Would have loved to add a Clifford to that line and allow Mittlestadt to marinate, but I think he gets a multi-year deal which for 4th line I was trying to avoid. Girgersons works.... the wings I have a hunch would be committee work.

Tierney would be an ok 3C,
but one of the league’s worst 2Cs
No thanks

I think it would be unwise to dump $6 million + into a better 2C with Cozens coming and Mittlesatdt maybe still being able to fill a void there as well.

Tierney could be acquired for our 2020 2nd and probably nothing else. We can keep Montour and move Miller

So if you’re just looking at him as a 3C moving forward,
should we be giving up Montour to get him?
Gotta be a better way to get a bridge 2C for a year
Heck... Cozens could even be ready for 2C sooner than later

Gotta think we could get a Tierney-like player (i like Bonino) for a decent prospect (Tage? Asplund? Etc) and then maybe a pick

lol
He’s been a decent assist guy
But on pace for 13goals this year
9 goals last year
17 the year before
11 the year before that

I think it’s very safe to say that he’s just a 3C
Especially on a good team
