I think Lavoie needs to be in the top 6 category. I think it should be for the top 6 category Yamamoto and Lavoie, and the 1/2/3 defence men it needs to be Bouchard and Broberg.

IMO Broberg has the intangibles to be a solid dman, kinda like Klefbom. Strong skating, and a good breakout. Lavoie definitely has the upside to be a top 6 player but he needs to work on his skating.

Yamamoto is not a prospect. I would consider him an NHL player.

I'd argue that you're too high on Benson and McLeod, and not high enough on Samorukov. I agree with swapping Broberg and Lavoie for the time being: Lavoie's career will benefit from his skillset and getting to play with two of the best NHL players in the game today. Broberg is likely to be a quality defender, but he's kind of on his own for it.

I wouldn't be surprised if Kemp and Kesselring move up a notch... where's Denezhkin? Pronman (I think) had him ranked in the top-20 Oilers prospects.

Disagree. Broberg has a very high floor because of his unbelievable skating ability, he's a virtual lock to play 1000 games. His ceiling might not be super high, but he's a surefire top-4 guy in a year or 2.

You think they trade JP at the draft this year?

I think Holland will be looking for offers at the draft. I don't think he'll move Puljujarvi unless he gets an offer he likes though.

I don’t really have enough information on Denezhkin, he’s kind of a tough read but his stats are definitely impressive. I definitely agree on Kemp though.

I doubt it, Holland thinks pretty highly of him and I almost think he signs a last chance Opt out deal.

I don’t think McLeod has the ability to put up high numbers but I think he’s got the speed and brains to be a solid 3rd line centre, same thing goes for Broberg but more so like a Sekera or Klefbom like player. As for Lavoie he’s a boom or bust prospect, from what I’ve seen in highlights, preseason and the WJC. His game reminds me of Neal and unless he pulls a Draisaitl and drastically improves his speed, I’m not convinced. Benson I can agree on though.

I don't know much about Denezhkin either, but Corey Pronman likes him okay. Ranked him 16th (IIRC) among Oilers prospects.
