Description
Las Vegas takes Weber: we protected Price, Petry, Beaulieu, Markov, Pacioretty, Galchenyuk, Gallagher, Radulov, Carr, McCarron, Shaw

Trade Emelin for Nash, we'll have the cap space for him

Re-sign Radulov, assuming he does well in his trial season

Vrbata is a depth signing

Miller is getting older, he could maybe sign as a backup in hopes of making a cup run

Beaulieu will be ready for bigger minutes in this season

Markov is getting older, can't quite handle the minutes he used to

Sergachev/Juulssen could make a deadly pairing

    If the Habs expose Weber in the expansion draft and Vegas takes him you guys gave up Subban for effectively nothing.

    There also is no guarantee Las Vegas would want Weber solely due to his age & contract (they have a salary cap too ya know).

    Which they can work around any way they'd want. Weber would be their captain, and you'd be fired as GM.

    Why protect markov? He's 38 and probably going to retire soon. And Mccarron is already protected and I doubt Emelin would even fetch Yakupov let alone Nash.

    maybe just getting rid of 9 mill off your cap is as good. MB should get fired anyway for not firing MT yet

    NYR laugh in your face before hanging up. The NYR don't have cap issues right now. We don't want a shitty defenseman for one of our best production/penalty-killing machines.
