Why would Tampa do that? Ristolainen costs more than what it would cost to keep Cirelli.

I guess the unprotected pick helps? But yeah, Risto isn't the right asset here.

Who would be a cap dump TBL could toss in? All their players seem to be worth their contracts

Risto doesn’t work in this deal
Tampa is trying to shed salary
I’d love to get Cirelli, but i highly doubt Tampa would move him

Brodin could be tough too, but more possible imo

If we could pull off deals for those 2,
I’d be extremely happy

I would do the lines a little different, but nbd
Biggest thing I’d change is that we need to move out Hutton & upgrade in net
He’s just way too inconsistent. And when he’s bad, it costs us the game with no chance to win

Also wouldn’t invest 3.5mil in Soderberg for line4

But hell...
if we get Cirelli & Brodin, then we’ll be in great shape regardless of what else is done
