To part with Johnny Hockey you are going to have to do way better!!!! Throw in a top prospect and a top 3 1st round pick!!!! Make it hurt!!!!

Johnny is only in his 2nd year as a pro (22) and is already a house hold name... Any team that gets him is not just getting a 30-40 goal scorer that's going to light up the NHL for years but a "SUPER STAR" that can draw in fans and help build the game in the local market... Especially with the kids... they love him!!!! The merchandise rights are worth almost as much as the on ice player... if not more!

You can literally swap names and still be true. Kuz is a star. WSH does add though

Good thoughts. Although Gaudreau may not get his wish in the next year or two, a trade might be inevitable.

I think trdejong needs to go see some Kuz highlights. He's elite as much as Gaudreau. I personally would rather have Kuz because he plays center and is also bigger but Gaudreau is younger and a beast even at 5'9" too. Either way your getting a stupidly good player.

If gaudreau wanted to go east, he would choose a team that could at least make it out of the first round of the playoffs.

Oh yeah there's no way he'd choose the best team from last years regular season which was an insane all season long performance and for the record they've made it to the 2nd round the last two years

If his choice was only teams that have made it to the cup final in recent years, there wouldn't be any trade. Those teams can't afford to add a Gaudreau and would have to part with an equally good player.
