Murray is a decent defenseman but the fact he can stay healthy make him not a attractive option for other team.
He average more then 35 games missed per season. That’s a lot.

It's a good team, but man that centre depth might be the worst on any playoff bubble team.

Murray isn’t getting you 2 2nd round picks. Maybe 1 but not 2. His healthy is a big issue.

Also Anderson is likely to be trade at the draft and Foudy is going to make the team next year.

I like Texier and Wennberg for 45+ pts each. Not great for 2 and 3 line C but it’ll be tough to get a true 2nd like center FA signed for reasonable so go with what you have. Wingers are solid.

We’ll see. Everyone wants to trade Andy but I think you can sign him for 3/$10 and be a good deal for both

Yeah I'd like Chabot and Brannstrom to hit 70+ points each, but that's not realistic. I like Texier, but he didn't exactly light the world on fire when he played, and Wenneberg hasn't hit 40 points since 16-17, so I wouldn't expect that out of him now.

They need a real 2C. I wonder if there's a deal where it makes sense to bring back Ryan Johansen. Send Wenneberg and maybe a pick or something, and Nashville retains a little? He would go a long way for CBJ.

Credit to CBJ, they have maybe the best 4C in the league.

I doubt it. It might be 1/$3 but he doesn’t want to be in Columbus And his agent has made that clear. He wants to get paid and Jarmo isn’t going to do that. He’s going to want to be a UFA as soon as possible so he can get paid.

Yeah RyJo and Torts together isn’t going to work. Plus that’s a bad contract. Duchene would be good...oh wait...

Foudy is their 2C.

Hope so...but an 18 y.o mid first round draft pick jumping into 2C seems less probable than Texier- and Foudy as a bottom 6 FW might be better served with a year of seasoning in the A.

I say this based on history. They didn't wait to put PLD in. They put him at center and rolled with it. This team is young. They can afford to do that. They have nothing to lose.
