Description
Lots of stupid in this one but these aren't real trades and I'm not a real GM.
I signed Khudobin as I'm not sure Kahkonen is ready to be a number 1.

The TB trade is to give them the cap space to resign their RFA's. I also added Stalock and Hunt as they are some of the cheapest serviceable veterans out there.

I have the Wild turning around and trading Dumba and Point to the Devils in return Wild get a late 1st, Hischier, and Gusev. I think Point in general is considered the better player between he and Hischier, though I believe Hischier fits Wild better. Losing Dumba since I don't think the Wild have a great option as a ready replacement but Soucy should be able to hold it down until a better option is ready. The Devils side of this deal would be a 1c with a bit more experience to help Hughes develop. Points contract is a shorter so that could be a deal breaker but the Devils are getting closer to being a contender so I think they would be able to re-sign him. Dumba is a massive upgrade for the Devils on defense so that speaks for itself.

I'm sure there are some very logical reasons why noneof this should happen but feel free to laugh, cry or just offer your opinion.

He is fantastic. Are you suggesting maybe adding more to the TB trade? I know TB wouldn't want to trade him, but Stamkos isn't going anywhere and I think they would like to keep Cirelli, plus they have many more RFA's to sign they need to find money.

Get real Tampa laugh at that offer for Point, Your value is nowhere close for getting Brayden Point. If there's a CBO Brisebois will probably use it on Yanni Gourde plus Killorn has a 20 team trade list this summer. So he's an easy move Point isn't going anywhere maybe one of Johnson or Palat waive as well say to Colorado but i doubt they need them anyways Point isn't getting moved and those pieces don't net him anyways.

Im suggesting that even if that trade was value (it isnt, its a bunch of quantity for quality) Point is too valuable to move for a bunch of parts and they have like a dozen other guys they could easily move for better value and lose less. Also that somehow instead of keeping one of the best 2 way players in the league who can score 40 goals and 90 points, you trade him a bunch of lesser pieces again.
You dont trade a guy like point unless someone has a gun in your mouth

Brayden point may actually be an option for Tampa to trade because of their cap. I saw some fans actually considering it. Wouldn't be a bad offer.
The value is definitely their

Thing is Rangers are kinda loaded with young stud defenseman but they could use some more young forwards.

greenway is a gritty forward. Also why do you need more defense. I think Minnesota should be adding picks but its not that bad

He’s gonna be a top four dman in the future and I’d rather trade deangelo then trade him. I like greenway but we have lemieuxs grit so that’s not necessarily needed

Bolts can't take big contracts back. So futures and draft picks are all they can really except.

they can easily get futures for Palat, Johnson, Gourde, Killorn, Cirelli etc. All way better options than moving Point for futures.

That's probably what they try first.

they wont have to try hard. They're all good and useful players, they'll probably even move 2

If they trade them then they will need to replace them, so it really depends on what they have ready to replace them. Whatever replacement they find will need to be cheap.

The only way I see Point moving is if he wants a big payday on his next contract, and it will likely take something we don't have to get him (a 1C on an ELC).

I'd love Hischier but I think he plays the entirety of his contract with the Devils, even if they win a lottery pick and take one of the top centers this year.

Realistically I think our options of trading for a center right now are Strome, Domi, or Mittelstadt. Maybe Johansen too if NSH decides to move him but he's a bit older than players I think we should target.
