Yeah. Back up would need to be addressed. But if they let you terminate contracts without penalty. That’s 6 mill with Okposo. And another 2.5 with Hutton. You could make it work with Dahlin the following year

my guess is Dillon takes a 1 year deal somewhere.
Defensemen tend to make a lot more than people might expect.
But due to the cap issues, he's kind of stuck riding this out.
That means he takes a 1 year deal and cashes in the next year.

Of course this is a calculated risk as we don't know if everything will be fine for next season.

Detroit passes. Since they are rebuilding trading 2 draft picks for a 30yr old winger doesn't make much sense.

I think Ottawa passes on that trade. Take out McCabe and Pinto and maybe. Which 2nd depends on the Sabres desire to take on MacArthur's contract. He can be placed on LTIR and somehow helps Buffalo with their cap. Something like Toronto did this season.

Detroit doesn't even listen which throws off other rades....

Detroit says hell no, And DeMelo wants 3 x 3.5 you're at least $500,000 off.

I just thought they could use a veteran forward. I’m sure you just get the Same return for Dallas.
