A little more than I might have hoped for but generally good. Like that he's here for two years. Hope he keeps improving, he could be an excellent power forward if he starts scoring again like he did before his injury

I think this is a slight overpayment. I had him around 1 million. This makes it a little harder to sign Pietrangelo

I think Blais is really underrated and can have a Sanford like breakout next year. I think we were all hoping for the AAV to be around 1 mil but he's still a quality player on a cheap deal that makes us better.

This is a good deal for both sides. Now I expect to see exactly these same comments when the deal hits the Forums. (Plus Beast's of course.)

It usually doesn't make it into the Forums until it shows up on the home page. I'll go see.

I have an issue I had 1.15M listed for him, but my issue is his injury history might come back to haunt him.

If we take into consideration his WAR his contract is just slightly over what he is worth which is 1.43M so it's not a bad deal.

Yeah, that was kind of my thought too, I was just kinda hoping that we could get another super cheap deal out of him (around 1.1mil) with the hand injury and not being quite as impactful when he was coming back. He just kinda got screwed by Sanford taking his spot while he was hurt. But, I won't lose a lot of sleep over a couple hundred thousand here or there, and I'm generally confident that if he stays healthy he'll outpace 1.5 million easily in two years. I really like his game, and two years gives him plenty of time to find more consistent offence.
