Why would Florida even entertain that proposal? Barkov is miles better then Johansen and Fabbro doesn't even move the needle for them.

I certainly don't think it's a trade Florida would entertain. Not because of the package in return, but simply he's what represents their team. I would just love him on the Preds. Johansen is cost controlled and Barkov will definitely get around 10 plus in 2 years. No, Johansen isn't as good. Fabbro, while not a game breaker right now, has the tools to be one and he's 22. Tomasino is damn good. Could play next season as a 19 year old. It's not like the preds aren't trading away good players. Those 2 are solid young, emerging players. They don't trade Barkov if they don't have to, but if they did, it's not outrageous.

I've seen a lot of Wennberg for Turris trades. As a CBJ fan, I dont hate it, but NSH would have to add a decent bit.

Positives of Wennys contract:
5 years younger
Contract 1 year shorter
Contract 1.1M less
Extremely easy buyout (wennberg would be less than 1M for 6 years, and if you wait a year then it's like 1.4 for 4. Turris's is 2M for 8 years.)
Better defensively than Turris
(**most handsome guy in the league**)

Benefits of Turris:
Slightly better offensively, but not by a big margin.

See, NSH would have to add big time imo.

Dante Fabbro is a solid young top 4D with A level talent. Philip Tomasino is a top prospect. Johansen can be a Barkov replacement. Nashville are also taking back Stralman. Maybe i guess if you made it a 1st round pick it would be a deal Florida should consider

Florida is giving an elite talent for a cap dump (RyJo at that price is a cap dump, he's worth 4-5M), a failing prospect in Tolvanen, and sure, a decent prospect in Tomasino. NSH has paid about half the price of Barkov.
