3 Way trade

Description
3 way trade which sees ANH get the top line LW they want, EDM gets the top pairing RHD they want and WPG gets the top pairing LHD they want. All 3 teams are better for it!

Line 1: Connor albeit a rookie is a quality 2 way player. The jets don't want 2 rookies on the same line so they put Connor with the vets of Little and Wheeler.
Line 2: Dynamic scoring potential is all that needs to be said.
Line 3: The gritty vets who can still score
Line 4: The young guns. Petan, Dano, Burmistrov, Thorburn, Copp, Lowry, Armia, all share time on this 4th line. Because of how good the top 3 lines are, this line isn't used as much but can still be relied upon.

D pairings:
Lindholm and Buff...best pairing in the league
Morrisey finally makes the leap. He will play with Postma or Chiarot most of the time when the bench gets shortened but for the rest they want Myers and Enstrom split between 2nd and 3rd pairing to have a reliable vet on each defensive pair.

Power Play are two very different units which makes it hard for the opposition. 1st unit plays booming shots from the point by Buff and Lindholm while still being able to cycle the puck and play a gritty net front presence style
The 2nd unit is all skill with the shots coming from either side as Laine moves to the left point and Ehlers stays on the right. Scheif in the middle is the icing on the cake.

All in all this team is an improved version of the jets without any of the moves. I assume Trouba will be signed long term in the very near future but this 3 way trade ends up with basically a swap of a top pairing RHD in Trouba for a top pairing LHD in Linhdolm which the Jets need.

mmmmmmm, I think ya dun goofed (in that you never actually made a trade with the Oilers, and the Avs wouldn't really have a need for Trouba, since they already have Johnson and Barrie on the right).

With that trade, the Avs couldn't protect enough assets from Vegas. I believe the current strategy is to get Beauchemin to waive his NMC so they can protect Zadorov and all of their forward core.

I could be wrong but i think Trouba has played quite a bit on the left side so he is interchangeable.

trouba did finish the year on the left with buff, but what we are hearing in winnipeg is his role is a big part of the negotiations and why they are going slow. If the Jets commit to having trouba play on the left on the top pair its makes things a lot simpler. Nobody ever wants to play on their offside.

It makes a lot more sense for COL and ANA to swap Landeskog for Lindholm doesnt it? ANA still gets their top line wing and Lindholm is a better hit on COL because he is a true left side dman.
