I wouldn't trade Reinhart alone for Saad and Strome ... So probably wouldn't add Pilut in there as well ...

Reinhart rides Eichel's coattails. That's why he cant Center his own line

Not sure I understand why Boston does that deal.

KO w/ 750k retained = $5.25 mil / 3yrs
JM contract = $2.75 / 3yrs

So basically Boston is going to add $2.5 million in cap space for a guy who wouldn't even be on their roster? Okposo struggles to find TOI for Buffalo, who is a lottery team. I don't see how he's going to get TOI with Boston whose a Cup Contender.

What a dumb argument.

I guess all good players should only play with scrubs on their line.

Btw, apply that dumb logic to strome and saad and it makes this trade even dumber

You dump him to Seattle and youve successfully dumped all that salary. Or you get a 2nd and IR him for 2 years. Okposo still had 20 points on average 13 minutes toi, he'd definitely play, and probably play better in Boston

Saad is a power forward. Strome is a setup man. These players have roles and excel in them. Reinhart can do neither. Reinhart gives up on plays in the waning seconds of a period. What is Reinharts role, he doesnt create, he doesnt fight for pucks, he blames teammates when things dont go his way. Hes a 50 point player who will get payed like a 70-80 point player, im good

No fit for Okposo either. Bruins have a complete lineup and don't need him. Especially if he's at $5,25M and has three years left. We can just keep Moore at $2,75M instead of $5,25M for same number of years.

At this point, the pick shouldn't be conditional. But trade doesn't work so no need to discuss that.

We'll already need to protect 1F+2D at least, Seattle won't want to take Okposo for free lol

But we'd need to pay SEA to take him and if that's the case why not keep Moore? It would cost less to get SEA to take him. I just don't see where Okposo fits TBH.

RW1 - Pasta
RW2 - Kase
RW3 - Coyle/Studnicka
RW4 - Wagner/Khulman

Boston isn't going to play him on the 4th line because he doesn't fit what Boston does with their 4th line. That leaves a top 9 roles and he's not an upgrade over anything we already have.

I thought that was skinner cause it seems whenever they split the line he falls off hard

Skinner needs a set up man, but he also put up 40 goals with one. Skinner was stuck on a line of AHLers and fourth liners this year, and got hurt, Im not worried about him, besides they already over paid him, cant control that now

Coyle - Center, Studnicka - another year in the A minimum. Boston would also have around 2 million cap after signing everybody

Don't see Studnicka going back to the A. Many who cover the team and have access to Bruins personnel fully expect Studnicka to make the big club next season. Even still, I'd rather take Kuhlman over Okposo. While a small sample size, KK had 11pt in 36gp, which put him around 25pt over 82gp....that's at best what Okposo will give you has well, and KK will cost a fraction of the price.
