Imagine charging a family of 4 $450-$500 bucks for their tickets and then telling them they are idiots for wanting to eat at the game. The owners of the hockey team should want people to spend their money in the arena.

I find it amusing that people complain all the time about the in game experience and stuff like ticket sales, but as soon as the Pegula's fire a bunch of people in charge of those aspects, those same people roast the Pegula's.

As far as the concessions, aren't they for the most part ran by Jeremy Jacob's company?

I believe he is in the hospitality business, if memory serves. My 2 cents that werent asked for- the arena is, well its somewhere between ok and fine. It is the oldest arena in the league as of this year (i believe we were the second oldest, then we got passed). Kim pegula indicated that a new arena is in the plans, which means upgrades probably will be minimal for the time being. In the last 25 years, the quality of these barns has improved tremendously, i expect several problems will be addressed then. The on ice product for all the money and high picks has been a huge fail. They havent been cheap (save for ror, if you believe botterill was forced to take two wooden nickels so they didnt pay the bonus), but i expect that will change. Kim also said that they basically need their other businesses to turn a profit to support the sabres, that doesnt sound great. Im hoping they clean house, maybe promote kruger, the rest will hopefully take care of itself with competent management.
