Small move that follow the plan

Created by: Pharow
Team: 2020-21 Montreal Canadiens
Initial Creation Date: May 2, 2020
Published: May 2, 2020
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Nothing fancy here! Adding a good left handed defenseman that will gave Habs security and time for Romanov to getnuse to the Nhl. Perreault gave Mtl some scoring depth, he isn’t the player he use to be but still are a decent hockey players. So we allow the kids to continue their progression and can make decision on UFA players they want to keep with the core group. 2021-22 will be a big year for the Habs so they are better to not commit to much money this offseason. 1 year deal players are perfect here for this transition year.

I like that as it leaves us some cap space to sign the whole second line at the end of the year when Goligoski and Perreault expire. Fairbrother was a beast in training camp but we already have too many prospects on the left side.

Yeah and with Ekman Larsson and Chychrun on the left side they are more likely to move him then Haljmarsson. That my personal opinion though. Maybe they have other plan but that seem fair to me too!

both players have modified ntc clauses. perreault would be more likely to waive than goligoski. goligoski probably wouldn't want to leave the desert for a big canadian city.

You don’t learn me anything. Goligoski have a 8 team list where he refuses to be trade and Perreault have a 5 list team. And since you have absolutely no proof that Montreal isn’t on that list your comment is a absolute waste of time.

it's common for canadian cities to be on lists for ntc. since goligoski isn't canadian and as far as i can tell has no ties to montreal or canada i can't see why he'd leave the relaxing desert for the crazed quebec media. maybe toronto if he felt they could give him a cup but from arizona to montreal is a lateral move.

you could try minny. they are pretty likely to move a dman. philly would probably move gostisbehere and colorado would probably move cole/zadorov. there a few option in free agency too.

Since your only purpose is to troll people Dirtydangletroll you probably don’t get the situation tight once again. Arizona have Ekman Larsson and Chychrun on the left and due to is age Goligoski could very use the opportunity to play in Montreal since they don’t have much depth on the left. With a increase in responsibility he could use that before a UFA year and boost is value.

You didn’t settle you reading problem. The trade are for Goligoski and Perreault. If you want to trade for Gost or Cole or Zadorov just make your own.

he doesn't need to go to montreal to do that though. i'm sure there are at least 10 teams that could use him and that could match that offer.

And again simce your only purpose is to troll people, you are the one that initially said that there at least 10 team that could go after him easily that was your word and since you can’t prove anything that you said that make you a troll who have nothing intelligent to say and have for purpose to annoy people.
