That Strome trade is awful for both teams tbh.

Dubinsky is LTIR eligible and probably going to retire. And Strome and a 2nd is an overpay for Anderson.

Columbus also doesn’t need another 3rd line center who will get overpaid and and not produce. We already have Wennberg for that role. Strome is a product of playing with Panarin.

tbh, if you took the Rangers deal, and added Marc Staal to the Rangers side, and a 1st to the Columbus side, the Rangers still decline. That's how far it off it is.

Dubinsky has the same value as Staal.

    Georgie trade doesn't work either.

LOL if the trade is awful for both teams, then it is a fair trade.......

Why? you get to revamp your bottom 6 with an experienced center to the 4th line and a big cheap body for wing on the 3rd line. The issue with the rangers offense this past season is the bottom 6 not contributing. So you get that and then Logan Brown/howden to fill back into center after Dubi is gone in 1 year.

Not at all... in terms of value maybe in terms of needs it doesn’t nothing for either team. Columbus has no need for Strome and Dubinsky is LTIR so we have no need to dump him. I’m not sure you understand how bad that trade is for either team.

Rangers issue right now is depth scoring in the bottom 6, if you can have Anderson as 3rd line winger and Dubi as any sort of resemblance of his 2018 self as a 4th line center, that is a huge upgrade over Mckegg and Diguiseppe...I can't speak for Columbus but to add a veteran middle 6 center that can play wing too without giving up much...idk what team wouldnt wanna do that if they can afford it.

Dubinsky likely isn’t going to play again. He has a chronic wrist issue that hasn’t healed at all this year. Columbus already has Wennberg and Jenner as middle 6 centers but both are better for 3rd line. And we have too many wings as it is. We really need a 2nd line center who can carry the play, Strome really doesn’t do that.

"Balanced" is not the same as "good".
