ANA doesn't really need DeSmith, they're ok with having a bad backup (Stolarz) for a year or so, and Bjorkqvist straight up sucks

McCann>Tierney (in terms of hockey ability... Not faceoffs I'm aware)
Simon>>Jaros... So why are we adding a second...? It's also been proven that winning faceoffs has basically 0 correlation with winning games

I'm high on tierney. I view him as essentially the definition of the perfect third line center. Strong faceoffs, a decent two way game, ability to put up 40-50 points whilst likely getting a cheap contract. I don't think he should be moved for cheap, and I wouldn't consider McCann better. He's just an average middle six winger.

Penguins aren't trading McCann he's turning into a new core player for them.

I agree with this as well. Jared i think will be a solid player for the Pens for awhile. I would not move him at all. And his new cap hit should be 3 mil or less. Thats pretty solid for a guy who has the potential to be a 20-20 guy on our 3rd line. Just give him some wingers to play with.
