Pelech automatically is your 2nd best defenseman (in a case of no EK trade). He would cost FAR more than Pettersson.

I wouldn't want EK at all. Marino Dumo Letang Pettersson are better bang for their buck.

1. too many RHD.
2. EK isn't a top-5 D anymore...that contract will be one of the worst in the NHL in a few years. His injuries have slowed him a bit. I'd take him for less...but Marino is amazing.
3. Schultz will not make that much...he's had literally one good year.
4. McCann, Sheary, and Murray get more $$.
