Our PK is trash, JJ is a good PK guy we have No true C's on the PK he solves that , gives us a C on both PK units if we can get a hold of Zacha.

When trying to make a fair severson trade you have to realize he's the best dman on new jersey, he's just entering his prime so he's young enough for them to still build around, and he's on a very team friendly deal.

It's gonna cost you a lot more than a middle 6 forward, a middle pair dman, and a late 2nd rounder. You would probably have to start with nylander and add from there.

That's neat - Severson in TO would be the third best D man behind Rielly and Muzzin - it really doesn't matter if he was their best Dman last season (it's a low bar in NJ for best Dman). Severson is a 2nd pairing player not a Top pair guy , Kapenen is 8-5 F not a top line F both are entering their primes and both are signed to appropriately suited deals as for adding Zacha I gave the devil's a very good 3rd pair quite possibly a 2nd pair Dman in Dermott who is also entering his prime and will cost on a bridge deal around 2 million plus a 2nd rnd pick if more is needed sure I'll throw in a Bracco lol - NJ has 2 players that warrant a Nylander ask and that's Hughes and Hirscher after that there is no conversation to be had regarding Nylander

He's the third best D man your fans keep asking about, so I doubt those two things jive! Sevs is not worth Nylander for sure. Our problem is he is probably our best D and a young one signed for a good amount and term on the right side. While taking those assets are not far off, it makes a bigger hole in our bad D on both sides. Zacha ends up being our Zajac replacement soon. He didn't reach his draft potential (understatement), but he is a great pker with good numbers at the dot. I would argue the only place we are set is at center for years.

My kid played with him in a combine of sorts. And although it was a couple yrs back, he was lazy, weak and not engaged. Almost entitled. He's fast and has a parent move or two, a period after aying him you know him. Thats not to say he has improved, of course he has and will probably be a great AHLer or bottom line guy on some team, hopefully not the one I follow
