LMAO that's brutal if that is the cost to trade Smith. Obviously Strome is worth a 1st plus. Hawks will buyout smith instead.

I know its not a good deal for Chicago. I was just telling the other dude that it is an early second and you get rid of smith's contract
and I am pretty sure you use your cbo on seabrook

Smith only has 1 year at 3.25 mil. We don't need to pay anyone to take him off our hands. The buyout is super cheap or we can just have him play 4th line/13th forward where he is still a solid. If there was a cbo, we would use it on seabrook over smith in a heartbeat, not even a question
