1- I have never once seen any Blues fan here try to trade Parayko, let alone for Reilly, let alone explicitly say that they would trade Parayko for Reilly plus. Not one. I have seen some state that Parayko is a more valuable player than Reilly, and I have seen some say that Parayko is worth more to the Blues than Reilly would be. Neither of these is "asking for Reilly+ in exchange for Parayko". I suppose it's possible that I missed something, but I sincerely doubt that you saw precisely what you claim you saw. Sorry.

2- Marner's cap hit is about 10.9m minus the 2m = 8.9 + Holl's 2m = 10.9m. Parayko's 5.5m = Thomas' .9m = 6.4m. So, okay, fine, it would 4.5m, not 5m. I didn't actually add it up before, I was estimating. Slight difference in sum, same point stands.

1 - they were quite a few of those on here..

2 - I never mentioned Holl in any of the trades. And also Leafs are keeping those two million so you can add that sum up. Thats 500k.

Would that player be one of the best wingers in the game? Since when is Akil gonna be top-6 player? Akil Thomas (40-50pt C/W), Lucas Raymond (60-70pt W) and mid round pick in 2022 which would be effective player in like 2024 or 2025. Raymond is the biggest piece from LA there and I love him, but LA is getting by far the best player in that deal.
