they say this is never going away. It will be a seasonal thing we just have to deal with. Even though the death rates are said to be 20x higher than the flu.
Which is why we should call it what it is. The chinese woohan virus.

I'm sure the Blues would happily make the second trade, but there's no way Colorado does that. I'm not much for the first trade, we'd be giving up two reliable low-cap performers. Long story short, this ain't gonna work.

Oh, and get Foley out of there. He may never play again.

Sens don't need any of those players. Sens like their Goalie tandem, they aren't looking to make any changes there. Sens would rather just re-sign Mark Borowiecki than trade for Bortuzzo.

Sanford is solid, but sens shouldn't really be in the market for a Left Winger. They have plenty of options.

Sens could just move Allen again for more picks lol. Sens just don’t have enough draft picks

They aren't going to get more than the 2nd they give up in this trade. Doesn't change the fact that it's three players they don't need, for a high pick that they do need.

Hard to say that they need that pick. They have 74 other picks in the next two years.

That doesn't mean you throw it away. You can use it to trade up in the draft, you can use it as part of a package to get a young player with upside, or just draft with it. Trading a 2nd for depth doesn't make sense for a team that's a bottom team anyway.

Remember there’s a 50 contract limit for every team and Ottawa is going to have a ton of players to sign.

Then you make those decisions when you have to make those decisions. Also you want to know an easy way to avoid running out of contract slots? Don't trade for three players you don't need.
