Clifford is not anywhere near $2.5 mill. Also, I think you should have looked to buyout DeKeyser's contract rather than pay full price and have him sit as a healthy scratch. Money is not an issue for DET rn I get that but you can at least save a bit on him and look to pick up a big fish in free agency and give Veleno a much easier start to his NHL career by playing 3rd line winger rather than 2C.

Also, Philly would not accept that trade

Don't like that Philly trade for the Wings, think they're better off trying to further develop Cholowski and keep Fabbri, Hagg and Kubel are meh.

Philly trade is nonsense and you're missing a bunch of prospects that look to have NHL potential (Berggre, Mastr, Smith, Tuo, McIsaac, etc)
