We don't know anything about lottery odds at this point. We don't even know what the format is. If they lock in a 24 team playoff, they could easily go with a 7 team, 1-2-3 lottery system. There's no guarantee they go with the proposed 1 lottery system, that got so much push back.

Also having the best odds doesn't mean you definitely get 1st. That's not how odds work.
