Robertson should play with Spezza, just like Marleau help guide Marner as a youngster.

Dermott is on a way better career trajectory then Demelo was at the same age, so probably a better idea to keep our younger, cheaper in-house option, who also has a higher ceiling.

Even if AJ is hurt to start the year, what happens in your scenario when he's healthy? This isn't a Lupul situation.

My main point is flat cap, no CBO, cap space won't be cheap. Ordinarily AJ and Kerfoot may be worth 2nd rd picks. Not this offseason. You have teams with little to no cap space, Tor. TB, STL, and an expansion draft next off season. Will Win trade a 2nd for Kerfoot only to lose him in the draft. Doubt it.

Why is Robertson that much different that hundreds of other high scorers in low level league. To think Robertson can help the Leaf next year, really just a unfounded hope, as much I like to see it.
