My question with Staal is does he go play for wherever he's traded or does he just retire and play pond hockey with his kids?

That is an interesting trade for the Flyers. I think I would accept just hate trading away Patrick and Ghost with their value at their lowest point. Also, it would put their cap really close if not over

Can I suggest you make a 3 way trade with Strome instead of Patrick ending up in Minnesota with Dumba to team 3.

Wild could retain half of Staal's contract if necessary. I don't love it from our perspective either since we're selling low on Dumba, but we need a right shot center and Patrick does still have good upside. Kind of a risky trade for both teams but it does fill both team's needs IMO.

The deal breaker for Patrick was that he is a right shot and I do think he could be a lot better than Strome. If we offer sheet Cirelli it doesn't make a lot of sense to trade Dumba unless it's for a right shot C. It's nitpicky but we've struggled scoring off the rush with left shot guys fumbling the puck that would have been easy tap-ins for right shot forwards.

I get that those 2 are at their lowest value, but I wouldn’t do this as the wild.

I think Dumba remembering who he is would fix some of that scoring off the rush. He was the last one out of the zone more than leading or joining in on the rush this year. Also getting Kuinin back to wing should help too.

That’s a very small collection of defenseman... I know today’s NHL is different, but i would still like some truculence back there!

Why did you have to go and use big words? Some people on here (like me) are dumb and had to look up what that word meant. Help
