Some fun ideas.

I think kapanen for pujujarvi and a 2nd is fairer

Don't love trading Kapanen but love all the little moves. Very Dubas-like, taking advantage of players who aren't going to fit in the roles that will be available that have value. Bracco for Svech would be a great trade for both teams I think but I think Svech is more suited to the bottom 6 role that would be available. This lineup looks solid, like I mentioned in the other post, only pull the trigger on the Kap trade if the Leafs LOVE a guy at that 20ish position.

One of the better Leafs posts for sure

I think that would be just as good but Oilers dont have a 2nd this year or next year.

Leafs wouldn't do the trade then, oilers need Kap more than Leafs need Puli

The main issue I see with EDM trade is that PoolParty didn't want to play in the AHL, and wanted more ice time with the Oilers. I can't see him signing for such a low amount AND playing in the AHL. It would just be a repeat of last season all over again with him.

I don't think anyone really needs kasperi kapanen, but the leafs sure could use 2 million in cap space.

I'd prefer to move Johnsson for a worse pick, love the edge and speed that Kap brings. Other ways to find cap space

I'm pretty sure Detroit declines. With all the injuries Toronto had this season and Bracco didn't get called up once. He is small and and doesn't have break away speed that makes smaller players successful at the NHL level. Plus he won't go to the dirty areas.

The Canucks need defense. Particularly RHD. Only reason that Stetcher may be available is that they can't afford $3M for him. The Canucks have a lot of middle six wingers. They can't afford one for $3.4M per year (and for another 3 seasons), keep Markstrom and/or Taffoli, Tanev as well as Virtanen and Stetcher
