Just an Idea Feedback PLZ

Created by: Silkysmooth42
Team: 2020-21 Boston Bruins
Initial Creation Date: Jun. 4, 2020
Published: Jun. 4, 2020
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
I had an idea to sorta make everyone happy.
Please let me know (kindly) how it seems.

My issue is I dont really know Jost's value so lmk
This trade does seem to be a solid culmination of many I have seen. It doesnt screw Buffalo by giving them little nothing pieces, but it also isnt giving up the bruins top 5 RHD, or the 2nd best RW in the league so it also is fair for the bruins

(Jost signs a real deal with the Sabres, i jsut had to do that to trade him)
(Krug will be somewhere around there, but 69 lol)

Trades
1.
BOS
  1. Greer, AJ [RFA Rights]
  2. Jost, Tyson [RFA Rights]
Additional Details:
Bruins get a young player who hasn't necessarily excelled and has solid top 6 potential still
(and AJ greer who my friend went to high school with lol, that part was for fun and cuz bruins gotta move Cehlarik)
COL
  1. Cehlárik, Peter [RFA Rights]
  2. Krejci, David
Additional Details:
Avs get an excellent top 6 Center and they will be able to resign him next year (considering they are a contender so he wont just leave like he would if he were traded to Buffalo)
2.
BUF
  1. Jost, Tyson
  2. Kase, Ondrej
  3. Ritchie, Nick
  4. Studnicka, Jack
  5. 2021 1st round pick (BOS)
Additional Details:
BIG PIECES:
Tyson Jost - Krejci wasnt gonna cut it, he might just have left, BUT Jost is a solid young gun with good top 6 potential, can definitely be a good future piece
Studnicka - Another good young top 6 Prospect, bruins second best prospect, and a good young player overall ready to crack an NHL roster

Meduim Pieces:
Ritchie - Hasnt live up to expectations, BUTTTTT he is still young and would play well in a top 6 role in Buffalo. Still has plenty og room to grow and become a top6 or even a first line guy.
the 1st - Its low, but its still a first rounder so good for a gem like a Caufield in the next draft
Kase - Has had some injuries, but again excellent top 6 upside and still a very young player with room to grow
3.
BOS
  1. 2022 7th round pick (STL)
STL
  1. Moore, John
Additional Details:
Literally any team that needs a solid top 6 dman to round out their dcore.

Not enough for Eichel and Krug probably gets more money from Detroit.

Once again you're basically offering scraps for Jack Eichel, And once again Buffalo declines.

He has said he will take a discount to stay in Boston.

Explain more about the eichel valuation! Id love to hear!
(I kinda explained why it might be enough for Eichel, think about how he wants out)

Not nearly enough for Eichel. Most of the trade is made up of spare parts.

I know enough about them to know this isn't a good return for Eichel. Why ask for feedback just to dismiss it completely because it goes against your opinion? Childish.

Do some research Studnicka is a decent prospect that's it. Kase and Ritchie are alright not worth of Eichel Jost isn't worth that much and Bostons 1st is late. Sorry but yeah it's crap for an elite 1C like Eichel.

If Krug was willing to take a cheap discount from Boston, He'd already be resigned by now. From what's being reported his discount is between $7.5m to $8.0m not $6.9m.

Maybe if the Eichel situation continues to strain really bad that value would be close. Having Jost in there obviously helps. I just think BUF is gonna get better offers and i think the trade will be less parts for more high end guys. Debrusk or Carlo, plus prospects and picks. As a B's fan thats a tough pill to swallow, and for BUF fans that may not be enough. But it would be a really bad trade for BUF if they most valuable singular piece is a promising prospect who's played 2 NHL games (For the record i have high hopes for Stud) for a 10 + year superstar. But like i said, BUF obviously doesnt have a stellar management group and worse trades have been made.

Well said, the only thing I will say is that Stud isnt the single biggest piece, its Jost. But Stud and Jost are the two huge pieces

Wow I really got in your head lololol

And you are severly undervaluing any combination of: Jost, Krejci, Studnicka, Ritchie/Kase

I am open to opinions and having a discussion (check the Heyhowareya37 comment), but calling Jost and Studnicka "spare parts" just shows a lack of knowledge and research

It’s close, and better than most recent Eichel trades I have seen but people are going to be mad about any trade

No, it really doesn't. In a trade for Eichel, these guys don't really move the needle. They would be complimentary pieces in any Eichel deal, i.e 'spare parts'.

I called you childish because your behaviour was childish. And actually I didn't really call you childish, I called the act of asking for feedback and then dismissing a different opinion childish.

This is actually one of the better offers i’ve seen. Most I roll my eyes at. Just on the Sabres side I would want something more than Kase/Jost to fill up the net in Buffalo. Slightly more than this ArmchairGM would offer Krug but I could live with it. High marks for trade creativity (Trader Jack Padres). Man that would be a sic lineup.

Jost is not a top6 FW, 3rd line C right now.
If he was top 6 FW, AVs would not deal him from aging guy.
